About Hunting & Fishing Adventures
In our November 2010 catalogue we advised that we had allowed an independent company which had set up as a booking agency for guided outdoor adventures, rural accommodation, charter boat fishing, helicopter transportation etc, to use our name and to be hosted on our website as we believed that what they offered would be another popular service we could provide for our customers.
Unfortunately some of you objected to this, you told us you were worried that our association with a venture such as this could lead to traditional public access being closed up. While we don’t believe this would be the case, we listened and could not ignore the passion many of you expressed. In the end we took your advice to concentrate on what we do best, retailing Hunting & Fishing equipment.
The ‘Adventures’ company, which was and is incidentally, getting excellent wraps from those who have used its services, has gone its separate way.
