caught this bronze whaler off the beach with a 10kg rod i found at the dump took me over an hour to land

best luck we had all day. also caught another snapper not as big. we hoped we wouldn't drag in a carpet like last time

thanks to the guys at hunting and fishing wanganui who went out of there way to help me set up my long line when they didnt have the right crimping tool one of the guys brougt his own set in and helpd set it up . ist time i used it me and a mate got this 20 pound snapper
