Third snapper ive caught but buy far the biggest weighing 22lbs not to bad for a leaner fisher was caught with kahawai as bait

Opening weekend 2010 duck season, in between flights and birds coming to the boat, the opportunity was taken to bring in Snapper!

took 2 1/2 hours to land ,no gimble on a trailer boat ,no gaf ,couldent tail loop it, lifted it in the boat through the gills

Caught this 27 Kg Kingi with sardine bait. earlier on lost 3 more Kingis.

The Kingfish weighed 17kg & was 1200mm long and was caught on a "Larkin special" stray line with a whole (baby) salmon bait (from H & F in Napier).
