Allan White Hunting & Fishing New Zealand in Invercargill – The franchise area of Southland referred to as the ‘Duck Capital’ of New Zealand, where many local farmers have developed quality habitat and water areas for the breeding and hunting of ducks. Southland is also renowned for its brown trout fishing, the close proximity of small streams for delicate nymph and dry fly fishing, to the headwaters of main rivers for the challenge of large brown and rainbow trout. Stewart Island – a short ferry ride or plane trip attracts many a hunter throughout New Zealand for a trophy whitetail and to enjoy the seafood delicacies of blue cod, oysters and paua, available as the season and weather allow.

Thomas has worked at Allan White Hunting & Fishing for just over a year. He is mad keen on duckshooting and fishing and also enjoys deer stalking. He eagerly anticipates duck shooting season and is always keen to see what new products are around. He also does a lot of trout fishing on Southland's rivers and lakes including Wanaka and Hawea. As his top choice of product he reckons you can't beat rapala fishing lures.
