Richie McCaw's First Bull Tahr

Some guys have all the luck! And we're not referring to Richie McCaw's first Bull Tahr. It's the grin of Anton Evans, owner of our Kaikoura store who took Richie hunting that got the rest of us envious. The trip planned was a Heli Tahr Hunt (flying being a passion of Richie's). However atrocious weather put a stop to that. Plan B was a ground hunt that ended in a great result with Richie's first Bull Tahr, well done Richie! Anton joined the Hunting & Fishing New Zealand team back in September when he opened his shop in Kaikoura. Be sure to call in if passing through, this store's got a great layout, is full of atmosphere, has all the gear you'll need to get the most out of the local region's outdoors, and is situated perfectly right on the main highway next to New World.
