Shipping
Currently, Hunting & Fishing New Zealand will only ship to addresses within New Zealand, including outer islands. We do not ship internationally. For the majority of orders, we have a $7.50 flat rate shipping fee, $10.00 for rural addresses. For bulky items, additional fees may apply. As some courier companies do not ship to PO Boxes we recommend you provide either a residential or commercial shipping address when placing online orders. Should we be unable to ship to a PO Box we will contact you for an alternative address. -
Dispatch
In most circumstances, your order will be dispatched from the store closest to the delivery address you supply us. This means we can keep freight to a minimum and send items up to about 25kgs. Most courier companies charge based on weight or size, generally what is bigger. If we have to send your order from another store, we’ll pay any additional freight cost. If you’re ordering more than 1 item and the combined weight (or size equivalent) is more than 25kgs we reserve the right to charge additional freight. From time to time we might offer freight specials or even free freight. These offers will also be based on 25kgs. -
Damaged or Non-Delivered Articles
If your article is damaged upon arrival please notify us at ask@huntingandfishing.co.nz or by phone on 0800 486 834. If your order has not arrived within 10 days of the dispatch date please notify us immediately on ask@huntingandfishing.co.nz. There is only a small window of opportunity for us to be able to claim for missing parcels with courier companies. Failure to notify us in the above time frames may result in no refund.

Reel: Purpose built for light jigging applications. Built specifically for the New Zealand market and designed with the harsh coastal environment in mind, the new Saltist SJ 200H is tailor made for those looking for a midsized baitcasting reel that is well equipped to target trophy sized fish. A precision designed solid aluminium frame and gear side plate is where it all begins. This provides the perfect platform from which to integrate Daiwa’s advanced gear design – Digigear II. And when combined with the new Air Rotation system the result is a reel that is unparalleled for smoothness and gear precision. Leveraging off this solid base platform the Saltist SJ 200H incorporates Daiwa’s UTD drag system giving it the ability to generate heavy-duty drag pressure while retaining silky smooth line release. This is supported with an extra-long power handle and EVA knob to provide cranking power, balance, and control. More responsive, more sensitive. The 21 TD BLACK range is the best yet, incorporating Daiwa’s Next Gen. X45 blank technology. Utilised in the bottom half of each rod blank, this increases torsional stiffness whilst reducing blank diameter and weight. The result of this is a rod that’s more responsive, casts further, and has increased sensitivity. As has become a staple of Daiwa rods in this price point, HVF Nanoplus graphite is used to make not only a lighter weight rod blank, but a much stronger blank as well. The advancements don’t stop there. A new Air Sensor reel seat has been used which is 40% lighter than a traditional reel seat design and helps maintain a balanced overall setup when paired with a correctly matched reel. Fuji Alconite guides adorn the blank and provide anglers with trouble-free performance. Length: 6'6" Sections: 1 Weight: PE0.8-2 Lure: 40-120gWrite Your Own Review
