Guess the Pack Weight Competition – Terms & Conditions

This promotion is run by Hunting & Fishing New Zealand (the “Promoter”).

• - Entry is open to New Zealand residents only.
• - Entrants must be 16 years or older.
• - Employees of the Promoter and participating brands are not eligible to enter.

• - The promotion begins when the post is published on the Promoter’s official Facebook and Instagram pages.
• = Entries close 27/03/2026
• - The winner will be announced on via the Promoter’s social media pages. 

To enter, participants must:

• - Comment on the official competition post with their guess of the total pack weight (format: 00.00kg).
• - Follow the Promoter’s official social media page (on the platform they enter).
• - Tag at least one (1) other person in their comment.

• - One (1) entry per person per platform total.
• - Entries across Facebook and Instagram will be treated as a single pool.
• - Multiple entries may result in disqualification.

• - The prize consists of a Tatonka pack and associated items as outlined in the promotional post.
• - The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
• - The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any item with a product of equal or greater value if necessary.

• - The winner will be the entrant whose guess is closest to the actual total pack weight, as determined by the Promoter.
• - The winner must be following the promoters official page that they commented their entry on.
• - In the event of multiple correct or equally close guesses, the winner will be selected at random from those entries.
• - To the fullest extent permitted by law, all decisions made by the Promoter in connection with this promotion are final and binding on all entrants, and no correspondence, negotiation, or review will be entered into.
• - The final determination of the winner, including the calculation of pack weight, eligibility of entries, and selection process, is at the sole discretion of the Promoter and may involve a determination based on the eligibility criteria

• - The winner will be contacted via direct message on the platform they entered from.
• - If the winner does not respond within 3 days, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize.

• - The prize will be delivered to a New Zealand address nominated by the winner.
• - The Promoter is not responsible for any additional costs associated with claiming the prize unless stated otherwise.

• - The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who breaches these Terms & Conditions or tampers with the entry process.
• - Incomplete, indecipherable, or late entries will be deemed invalid.
• - The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the promotion if required due to unforeseen circumstances.
• - By commenting on the promotional post, participants are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions

• - This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
• - By entering, entrants agree to release Facebook and Instagram from any liability associated with this promotion.

• - Personal information provided will only be used for the purpose of administering this promotion and will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy.
