The night vision module can be used both with a monocular in the kit and many other optical devices (monoculars) with lens diameters 42, 50 and 56 mm or similar.
To install the night vision module onto the front optical bell of a day telescopic sight, specially designed mounting assemblies (bought separately) are used. The assemblies are the adapters with various diameters with a set of reducing rings (the rings can be used as necessary depending on the diameter of the optical bell).
The Pulsar Forward DN55 is supplied with a removable 5x magnification eyepiece that converts the unit into a powerful night vision monocular.
Once you have spotted and identified your target remove the 5x eyepiece, and attach the DN55 to the front of your riflescope for taking the shot. This is quick and easy, thanks to the supplied Pulsar DN metal cover ring bayonet mounting system. Suitable for rifles up to 6000J ME.
The DN55 can be custom calibrated to change the point of impact without altering your riflescope. This is useful for reducing the zero distance for night hunting, and for custom and subsonic loads.
SumLight light amplification enables viewing and shooting in 1/4 moon conditions without extra infrared. An inbuilt laser IR 915 'stealth' illuminator enables use in total darkness.
Extra DN metal cover rind adapters are available for use on multiple rifles.
