Hunting & Fishing Seeker 3P Tent Testfire

“I took the Seeker 3P out in the middle of the tussock up in the Kaweka tops to test it out back in April this year. With less than favourable weather conditions and no natural cover, the very spacious vestibules on both sides of the tent meant there was enough room for 2 of us to store our gear and gave shelter to use a Jetboil outside. Set up was a breeze. The 1-unit aluminium pole system made it simple to hook into the anchor points on the tent (nothing worse than having 3 or 4 individual poles to deal with). The 20D Nylon ripstop silicon fly fitted like a glove, allowing for airflow and was watertight with a 3000mm water rating. The standout for me was once the tent was aerodynamically set up in the direction of the oncoming wind, it was one of the most solid little tents I’ve been in. The extra space inside made for a comfortable night without half the tent folding in from wind gusts.”
